Holiday Accommodation Coolangatta

Mystique Country House, located in Coolangatta, NSW, is a spacious, north-facing home situated on premium rural land. This beautifully designed house, built in 2007, is modern and has a unique design feature. It is built all on one level. A lake surrounds it, providing a magnificent backdrop of Mt.Mt Coolan. Every room in the house has windows and/or sliding doors overlooking country scenes of lake, mountain or rural land and trees. The property features a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor living, allowing for comfortable living all year round. The atmospheric presence of the lake and mountain adds much intrigue and mystery to your experience of staying at the property. The house is very private and well set back from the lane. You drive along a charming country lane beside the vineyards in the approach to the property. This area is centrally located in relation to many towns and the coastal region of the Shoalhaven area.

Mystique Country House is a luxurious South Coast, NSW vacation house or retreat providing quality accommodation for holidays and weekends away with friends and family. It is strictly not a venue for events or parties under any circumstances. But the house is very suitable for a family wedding, strictly for staying. We st ictly do not do weddings or events – no exceptions.

This is not just a house for the Autumn and spring. Autumn and winter are times of the year when the mountains, the lake, and the surroundings are hauntingly beautiful and ethereal, creating the perfect atmosphere for you to be your most contemplative and rational. This s not j,ust a summer abode b enjoyed for some different reason onwinter. Come  oin our migratory black swan families who come to the lake every winter and stay for several months—great setting for atmospheric family and friend gatherings.

The area in which this property is located is of deep historical significance. In 18 2, Alexander Berry first set foot in this settlement and established his homestead in the area, situated between the mountain and the sea. Land was granted to Berry and his partner, Wollstonecraft, for the development of convicts, which occurred in a historic area. Histo ic buildings of the Berry and Wollstonecraft era are found in abundance in the area.

Mystique has been furnished with everything brand new, including the air conditioning unit, which produces great temperature control in all seasons for this large house.

 

Special Features of the House

General features

  • The house generates a sense of peace, being far removed from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and being amongst nature.
  • The house provides a space, en-suite bedrooms have en-suites and are very self-sufficient. The f fth bedroom has a bathroom located off the hallway, adjacent to the bedroom.
  • The house is built on one level; there are no internal steps. Many find this feature highly advantageous.
  • Ducted air conditioning to all bedrooms, except bedrooms 1 and 2. The brand new air conditioning unit is powerful, being very warm in the winter months and cooling effectively in summer. A separate air conditioning unit is found in the theatre room.
  • Ceiling fans in all bedrooms..
  • The theatre room features a double sofa bed with a door, which can be converted into a bed for an extra 1 or 2 guests to come and stay, bringing the total number of guests to 11 or 12. Extra guests cost an additional $75 per person per night. They share the  5th bathroom in the hall. For 10 or fewer guests, the sofa bed will not be available as a bed, but only as a Wi-Fi connected Ficonnected to NBN—also Foxtel Sports and Movies, a Hi Fi stereo system and two televisions.
  • Solid quality imported timber floors, two cathedral ceilings and high ceilings throughout the whole of the house.
  • Bedroom and bathroom linen is provided.
  • Extensive outdoor decks, one with a solar-heated swimming pool.
  • The property is set amongst established gardens and park-like grounds.
  • Town water and sealed road access.
  • The large garage is primarily used as an entertainment area, featuring a pool table and seating/tables.
  • Plenty of outdoor off-street parking for several cars and space for a boat and trailer outdoors.

 

The Kitchen

  • A fully equipped modern kitchen with all modern appliances and amenities.
  • Ceasarstone benches, large European gas cooktop stove, large electric oven.
  • Nespresso machine (BYO pods) and NutriBullet.
  • All crockery and cutlery supplied.

Dining Room

  • A formal white dining room with a white marble dining table, sideboard, and white leather chairs.
  • Views out over the front garden to Mt Coolangatta and also out to the back outside living area.
  • The table seats eight.
  • This is a private and decorative room.

Informal Sitting Room

  • Overlooks the lake, garden and pool through wide sliding doors onto a timber deck.
  • Italian leather lounges, polished cement top coffee table.

Formal Lounge and Dining Room

  • Large, stunning formal lounge and dining room with recliner leather lounges and a dining table that seats twelve, built privately.
  • Views through one sliding door over the expansive, eastern section of the lake and garden.
  • Views from the dining table through the other sliding door look onto the outdoor deck.
  • Hi-Fi System.
  • Ducted air conditioning.

 

Theatre Room

  • The theatre room features comfortable tiered seating, complete with leather lounges and armchairs.
  • Includes a 75-inch flat-screen television with a DVD player. Both are easily operated from one remote.
  • Foxtel Sports and Movies.
  • Contains an air-conditioning unit.
  • The room can be blackened during the day.
  • Features extra seating or an additional double bed in the form of a sofa bed, which can be converted into a double bed upon request and payment. Otherwise, the sofa bed is padlocked in lounge position. The sofa bed is only available for an extra 1 or 2 guests beyond the house’s capac ty of 10 people. It is not available for fewer than 10 or fewer than 10 guests. The cleaner is the only one who can assemble or disassemble the bed, which is padlocked if not prepaid and booked in advance.  Extra guests cost an additional $75 per person per night.

 

Bedrooms and Bathrooms

  • Five large bedrooms, of which one is a main bedroom.
  • Four bedrooms feature Queen-sized beds, stylish en-suite bathrooms, and built-in robes.
  • The fifth bedroom features two king single beds and is located next to a shared bathroom in the hallway.
  • An extra double bed, in the form of a sofa, is located in the theatre room. The sofa bed is only available for an additional 1 or 2 guests beyond the house capacity of 10 people and must be paid for at the time of booking. It is not available if 10 or less than  0 guests come. See above, the general and theatre rooms.  Extra guests cost an additional $75 per person per night.  Must be pre-booked and prepaid for.
  • Ducted air conditioning to bedroom 1 and bedroom 2.
  • Ceiling fans in alinesdareoms.
  • All lin n is supplied. Sheets are all cotton.
  • Brand new furniture in all bedrooms.

  • Beach towels are not provided.

  • Garage area with internal access to the house, parking for one car.
  • The garage is mainly used as an entertainment area with a pool table and seating/tables.
  • Plenty of outdoor off-street parking for several cars and space for a boat and trailer outdoors.

  • A laundry fully equipped with all modern conveniences and a door to an outdoor clothes line.

 

In Conclusion

Mystique Country House is located in a very rural location, which is very near the coast and the Shoalhaven River, a major fishing river. It is within a five-minute drive to Shoalhaven Heads and then on to all beaches along the Seven Mile Beach National Park, up to twelve minutes away. Similarly, the historic tourist town of Berry and the central shopping area of Nowra are a fifteen-minute drive away. From Nowra, you can head towards Greenwell Point, renowned for its seafood, after passing through the charming historic farming areas of Terara and Numbaa, where many of the unchanged farming houses are over one hundred years old and very quaint and picturesque. From Greenwell Point, head to Culburra Beach, Currarong, and Point Perpendicular, with its very high, perpendicular cliffs that drop straight into the famous, and its famous lighthouse. Then, head off to Jervis Bay. Visit wineries along the way. All in a day!!

The area excels in rural, country, mountain, coastal, river, headland and bay regions with so much culture to offer. There are many wineries, and the area is famous for its seafood and cheeses. The property is located just two hours South of Sydney, just beyond the historic Coolangatta Winery Estate. It is within walking distance to the winery, restaurant and golf course, but also just a short drive to the Shoalhaven River and the Seven Mile Beach National Park.
